Volunteering Opportunities at the Access to Justice Foundation and Litigant in Persons Network – Winter/ Spring 2018/19
The Access to Justice Foundation (ATJF) works to improve access to justice for the most vulnerable in society. We do this by raising funds and distributing them to organisations that support those who need legal help but cannot afford it.
As part of the ATJF, the Litigant in Person Network (LIPN) connects a cross-sector group of professionals, with a common goal of improving access to justice for people facing the legal process alone. The Network’s website forms a central platform for over 300 members to learn more about projects, resources, research and other content focused on improving access to legal advice and the legal system.
We are looking for volunteers to join our small, dynamic charity and gain valuable work experience in the legal professional and charity sectors.
The successful candidate will be committed to improving access to justice and will demonstrate advanced research and writing skills. This unpaid role requires a commitment of one day per week for 3 months. Reasonable travel expenses within London will be reimbursed.
